You should remove the electrical connector from the sensor, release the retaining clip by a pair of needle nose pliers bend at a 90-degree angle and remove the sensor from the master cylinder.

Q: How do you remove the master cylinder reservoir?
A:
You should remove the master cylinder from the vehicle, the brake master cylinder reservoir retaining pins, and the reservoir from the master cylinder by pulling the reservoir straight up and away from the cylinder and the seals from the master cylinder.

Q: How do you remove the master cylinder?
A:
You should remove the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir with the proper tool, the fluid lever sensor electrical connector, and the brake lines from the ABS module to the master cylinder, install the rubber cap and or plugs the brake lines, and remove the mounting bolts from the master cylinder and the master cylinder.
