A:
The procedure is to remove the camshaft cover and the upper timing chain guide, install the J 43655, remove both the intake and exhaust camshaft sprocket bolts, slide the camshaft sprockets forward, remove the power steering pump bolts and set the pump aside, mark bearing caps, remove the bearing caps and the intake camshaft and remove the camshaft roller followers and the hydraulic element lash adjusters.

Q: How do you install the exhaust camshaft and lifter?
A:
You can lubricate the valve tips, install the hydraulic element lash adjusters and the camshaft roller followers, ensure that the alignment notches are aligned with the camshaft sprocket, install the exhaust camshaft and the camshaft bearing caps, tighten the camshaft bearing cap bolts, install camshaft sprockets, hand tighten new camshaft sprocket bolts, remove the J 43655, tighten the camshaft sprocket bolts, install the upper timing chain guide and install the camshaft cover.
