A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the fuel tank and the fuel sender assembly retaining ring, remove the fuel sender assembly and the seal, then clean the fuel sender sealing surfaces.

01/11/2022Q: How to remove the Fuel Level Sensor?
A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, relieve the fuel system pressure, drain and remove the fuel tank, remove the fuel sender assembly, disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector, remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip, disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector from under the fuel sender cover, remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip, squeeze the locking tangs and remove the fuel level sensor.
