A:
You need to drain the cooling system, loosen the Water Pump pulley bolts, and remove the cooling fan and clutch assembly, the drive belt, the water pump pulley mounting bolts, the water pump pulley, the radiator outlet hose clamp, radiator outlet hose, the water pump mounting bolts, the water pump, the water pump gaskets, finally clean the water pump gasket mating surfaces.
Q: What should be done before installing the Radiator (4.3L)?
A:
You should inspect the rubber mounts before installing the Radiator.
Q: What is the recommended torque for the reservoir retaining nuts?
A:
The recommended torque is 8-11 Nm (6-8 ft. lbs.).
