2005 Chevrolet Aveo Brake Master Cylinder

You can install the seals into the cylinder body, install the reservoir on the master cylinder body, connect the clip to the clutch hose connection at the master cylinder, add brake fluid, raise the vehicle, bleed the braking system, lower the vehicle and connect the reservoir electrical connector.

You can use a wooden or plastic drift.

You can remove the following: the master cylinder, the brake fluid reservoir, the seal ring from the cylinder bore, the retaining ring from the cylinder body, the primary piston and the secondary piston assembly, and the spring from the master cylinder bore.

You should first disconnect the electrical connector from the reservoir.

You can disconnect the electrical connector from the reservoir, disconnect the clip to the clutch hose connection at the master cylinder, pry upward to release the reservoir, tilt the reservoir and pull it upward and remove the reservoir seals.
