Q: How to remove the Power Steering Hose Assembly (4.2L)?
A:
You should raise and support the vehicle, install the drain pan under the vehicle, remove the power steering hose assembly to the power steering gear retaining bolt, disconnect the power steering hose assembly, the power steering return hose and power steering cooler hose, lower the vehicle, remove the power steering hose assembly to front crossmember bracket mounting bolt, disconnect the power steering pressure hose, power steering cooler hose and the fuse block wiring harnesses, remove the fuse block, the battery tray, the power steering hose assembly bracket retaining bolt, the power steering hose assembly bracket, the power steering hose assembly to frame brackets retaining bolts, the power steering hose assembly from the vehicle, raise and support the vehicle, install the seal extraction end of the J44586 and extract the power steering gear oil seal.
