2005 Buick Rainier Interior Door Handle

You should open the front and rear bezel covers, position the stem of a flat-bladed tool at the rear bezel, push the rear bezel rearward 6 mm (1/4 in) and pull down on the handle, position the stem of a flat-bladed tool at the inside edge of the front bezel assembly, push the front bezel assembly forward 6 mm (1/4 in), pull down on the handle, expose the rear handle retaining tab, insert the tip of a flat-bladed tool into the rear retaining tab, release the roof panel tab from the bezel, remove the handle, expose the front handle retaining tab, insert the tip of a flat-bladed tool into the front retaining tab, release the roof panel tab from the bezel, remove the handle from the roof panel, release the bezel retaining tabs and remove the bezels from the headliner.

You should remove the door trim panel and the handle retaining bolt, release the handle locator tab from the locator cutout, by sliding the handle forward, release the rod retainer locks and remove the rods from the handle and the handle from the door.

You should position the handle to the door, install the rods to the handle and the rod retainer locks, insert the handle locator tab into the locator cut out and move the handle rearward, indexing the fastener hole to the door, install the handle retaining bolt and the door trim panel.
