2005 Buick Rainier Engine Mount

You should disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the cooling fan, the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector and the retainer, the MAP sensor, the left shock module (if the frame mount is being removed), and the right and the left upper engine mount nuts, raise the vehicle and remove the right and the left lower engine mount nuts and the engine protection shield, lower the vehicle, place a floor jack under the oil pan with a block of wood, raise the engine and remove the left engine mount from the bracket, the left engine mount bracket bolts, the left engine mount bracket, the left frame engine mount bracket bolts, and the left frame engine mount bracket.

You should disconnect the battery negative cable, remove the cooling fan, the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector and retainer, the MAP sensor, the right shock module if the frame engine mount is being removed and the right and the left upper engine mount nuts, raise the vehicle, remove the right and the left lower engine mount nuts and the engine protection shield, lower the vehicle, place a floor jack under the oil pan with a block of wood, raise the engine, remove the right engine mount from the bracket, the right engine mount bracket bolts, the right engine mount bracket, the right frame engine mount bracket bolts and the right frame engine mount bracket.
