Then, please apply GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) threadlocker compound or equivalent to the valve rocker arm bolt threads. Finally, you should install the valve rocker arm pedestal retaining bolts, the left and right valve rocker arm cover, and the right valve rocker arm cover, and listen for valve train noise.

First, you need to remove the rocker arm assemblies and the spark plugs and charge the cylinder with compressed air to hold the valves closed. Then, please compress the valve spring, and remove the valve keys, the valve cap, and the valve spring. Finally, you should pry up on the bottom of the seal to remove the Valve Stem Oil Seal.
