2005 Buick Park Avenue Knock Sensor

First, you need to turn OFF the ignition, drain the cooling system, and raise the vehicle. Then, please disconnect the knock sensor wiring harness connector from the knock sensor. Finally, you should remove the knock sensor from the engine block.

First, you need to install the knock sensor into the engine block and install the knock sensor heat shield. Then, please connect the knock sensor electrical connector to the knock sensor. Finally, you should install the splash shield, lower the vehicle, and fill the cooling system.

First, you need to turn OFF the ignition switch, raise the vehicle, remove the bolts from the splash shield, and drain the cooling system. Then, please remove the bolts from the knock sensor heat shield located under the freeze plug. Finally, you should disconnect the knock sensor wiring harness connector from the knock sensor and remove the knock sensor from the engine block.

The recommended torque is 19 N.m (14 lb-ft).

First, you need to install the knock sensor into the engine block. Then, please connect the knock sensor electrical connector to the knock sensor. Finally, you should lower the vehicle and fill the cooling system.
