FAQ for Fuel Pressure Regulator Repair

Q: How to remove the Fuel Rail Assembly?
A:
First, you need to relieve the fuel pressure from the fuel system, clean the fuel rail assembly and connections, disconnect the fuel feed, and return pipes from the fuel rail tubes. Then, please disconnect the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator, remove the ignition coil wires, depress the lock tab and disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors, and remove the fuel rail hold-down bolts. Finally, you should raise the injectors, and remove the fuel rail with equal force on both sides of the fuel rail.
