Then, please remove the fuel level sensor electrical connector retaining clip and disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector from under the fuel sender cover. Finally, you should remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip and squeeze the locking tangs and remove the fuel level sensor.

Q: How to remove the Fuel Sender Assembly?
A:
First, you need to relieve the fuel system pressure, drain the fuel tank, and remove the rear compartment floor trim and the fuel sender access panel. Then, please disconnect the fuel sender quick-connect fittings, disconnect the fuel sender electrical connector, and disconnect the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor electrical connector. Finally, you should remove the fuel sender retaining ring and the fuel sender assembly, clean the fuel sender sealing surfaces, and inspect the fuel sender sealing surfaces.
