Q: How to remove the Exhaust Manifold Right (W/O NC8)?
A:
First, you need to remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the heated oxygen sensor at the sensor pigtail, remove the right side spark plugs, remove the power brake booster heat shield, and remove the two bolts attaching the exhaust crossover to the right exhaust manifold. Then, please remove the transaxle filler tube, raise and support the vehicle, remove the exhaust manifold pipe, remove the heated oxygen sensor, remove the fuel injector sight shield bracket, remove the right engine lift bracket, and remove the bolt securing the EGR inlet pipe to the right exhaust manifold. Finally, you should remove the right exhaust manifold and the gasket, remove the exhaust crossover seal, and clean and inspect the right exhaust manifold.

Q: How to install the Exhaust Manifold-Left?

First, you need to place a new exhaust manifold gasket over the cylinder head studs, and position the left exhaust manifold to the exhaust crossover and up to the left cylinder head. Then, please install the two bolts attaching the exhaust crossover to the left exhaust manifold, and position the left engine lift bracket to the engine. Finally, you should install the oil level indicator and tube, and connect the spark plug wires to the spark plugs.
