FAQ for Brake Master Cylinder Bleeder Tool Repair

Q: How to perform the Automated Bleed Procedure?
A:
First, you need to remove all 4 tire and wheel assemblies, inspect the brake system for leaks and visual damage, inspect the battery state of charge, install a scan tool, and turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF. Then, please establish communications with the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM), select Special Functions, select Automated Bleed from the Special Functions menu, and bleed the base brake system. When the desired pedal height is achieved, you need to press the brake pedal to inspect for firmness. Finally, you should remove the scan tool, install the tire and wheel assemblies, inspect the brake fluid level, and road test the vehicle while inspecting that the pedal remains high and firm.
