You should remove the protective plastic cover before installation. You can not handle the knuckle or hub assembly by the ABS sensor wire. Then you should carefully install the dust shield, apply a thin layer of grease to the steering knuckle bore and install the wheel bearing/hub and dust shield to the steering knuckle.
