2005 Buick LeSabre Transmission Mount

You should remove the left front tire and wheel, the left front fascia extension, the left transaxle mount, the 4 bolts securing the left transaxle mount bracket to the side cover, and the left transaxle mount bracket from the vehicle.

You should remove the mount stud nut from the mounting stud to allow separation of the mount from the mount bracket and slowly lower the transaxle stand and remove the stand.

You should remove the power steering pressure hose from the rack and pinion and hang from the exhaust pipe and remove the power steering return hose from the rack and pinion and hang from the exhaust pipe.

You should remove the power steering gear heat shield. remove the power steering pressure hose from the rack and pinion and hang from the exhaust pipe, remove the power steering return hose from the rack and pinion and hang from the exhaust pipe, support the transaxle with a transaxle support stand, remove nuts from the mount bracket, remove the lower bolts and nut from the mount, remove the three retaining bolts from the mount bracket and remove the mount and the mount bracket from the vehicle.

You should apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent, install the left transaxle mount bracket to the case side cover, install the left transaxle mount, install left front fascia extension, install the left front tire and wheel and lower the vehicle.
