You should raise and support the vehicle, position the oil drain pan under the engine oil drain plug, remove the engine oil drain plug, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug, repair or replace if necessary, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug sealing surface on the oil pan, remove the Oil Filter and clean and inspect the oil filter sealing area on the oil filter adapter, and repair or replace if necessary.

You should drain the engine oil, remove the right engine mount bracket, disconnect the electrical connector from the engine oil level sensor, remove the engine oil level sensor from the Oil Pan, remove the torque converter cover, the oil pan bolts, the oil pan, the oil pump pipe and screen, and the oil pan gasket, clean the cylinder block mating surfaces and clean and inspect the oil pan.
