A:
You should position a new throttle body gasket to the upper intake manifold, install the throttle body to the upper intake manifold and install the nuts securing the throttle body to the upper intake manifold.

Q: How to remove the Intake Manifold-Lower?
A:
You should remove the upper intake manifold, and the thermostat housing, disconnect the electrical connector from the ECT, remove the drive belt tensioner, the EGR valve outlet pipe, the lower intake manifold bolts, the lower intake manifold, and clean and inspect the lower intake manifold.

Q: How to install the Intake Manifold-Lower?
A:
You should install the lower intake manifold, apply Threadlocker 272 GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the bolt, install the lower intake manifold bolts, install the EGR valve outlet pipe, the drive belt tensioner, connect the electrical connector from the ECT and install the thermostat housing and the upper intake manifold.

Q: What should be noticed in removing the Intake Manifold-Upper?
A:
You should remove the engine wiring harness heat shield fasteners, remove the engine wiring harness heat shield and remove the fuel rail mounting bolts and the fuel rail with the injectors.
