2005 Buick LeSabre Engine Mount

You should raise and support the vehicle, support the engine assembly with a suitable jack, remove the nut securing the right engine mount to the right engine mount bracket, lower the jack allowing the engine to lower slightly, remove the bolt securing the mount to the body frame rail, remove the two nuts securing the mount to the body frame rail and remove the right engine mount.

You should position the right engine mount to the body frame rail, install the mount attaching bolt and nut to the body frame rail, install the two nuts securing the right engine mount to the body frame rail, raise the engine into position, install the nut securing the right engine mount to the right engine mount bracket, remove the engine support jack and lower the vehicle.

You should position the right engine mount bracket to the front engine mount stud and engine, apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent, to the right engine mount bracket bolts, install the two lower right engine mount bracket bolts, apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent, to the right engine mount bracket stud, install the right engine mount bracket stud to the engine, install the right engine mount bracket nut to the engine, remove the engine support jack, install the right front fascia extension and lower the vehicle.

You should remove the right front fascia extension, support the engine assembly with a suitable jack, remove the nut securing the right engine mount to the right engine mount bracket, lower the jack allowing the engine to lower slightly, remove the three fasteners securing the right engine mount bracket to the engine, remove the right engine mount bracket stud and remove the right engine mount bracket.
