If the washer is inverted, you should replace the bolt and the washer. You can not overfill the transmission. Overfilling will result in foaming, loss of fluid, and possible damage to the transmission.

Q: What should be noticed in removing the Oil Pan?
A:
You can not use any type of grease to retain parts during the assembly of this unit. Using greases other than the recommended assembly lube changes the transaxle fluid characteristics. Using greases other than the recommended assembly lube causes undesirable shift conditions and/or filter clogging. You should use TRANSJEL(TM) J 36850 or equivalent during the assembly of this unit.

Q: How to install the Transmission Mount-Front?
A:
You should insert the front Transmission Mount stud (long) through the hole in the engine frame, raise and support the vehicle, install the nut securing the front transmission mount to the frame, lower the vehicle and install the front transmission mount bracket.
Q: What tools are required to replace the Automatic Transmission Fluid/Filter?
A:
You need J 6125-1B Slide Hammer, J 23129 Universal Seal Remover, and J 36850 Transmission Assembly Lubricant.
Q: How do I remove the Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe?
A:
You should pull the plastic cap back from the quick connect fitting and down along the cooler line about 5 cm (2 inches), pull on one of the open ends of the retaining ring to rotate the retaining ring around the quick connect fitting until the retaining ring is out of position and can be completely removed, remove the retaining ring from the quick connect fitting, discard the retaining ring and pull the cooler line straight out from the quick connect fitting.
