Q: How do you remove the steering column lock control module?
A:
You can disable the SIR system, remove the UP carrier, disconnect the electrical connectors at the lock module, release the retaining clips and slide the module upward.

Q: How do you remove the intermediate steering shaft?
A:
You can turn the steering wheel far enough to the left to gain access to the upper-to-lower intermediate shaft bolts, place the ignition in the locked position, remove the upper-to-lower intermediate shaft bolts, and remove the steering column and the upper intermediate Steering Shaft.
Q: What should be done if reusing the existing sensor?
A:
You must align the marks on the flush rotor flange cuff before installation.
Q: How do you service the repairing scratched wood steering wheels?
A:
You can remove the steering wheel, wash the wood section of the wheel with wax and grease remover, mask off the non-wood area of the steering wheel, and with 400 grit sandpaper first, finish sanding with 600 grit, wash the wood section of the wheel again with wax and grease remover, clear coat the steering wheel, then install the steering wheel.
