You can disconnect the battery negative cable, remove the intake manifold, disconnect the BAT cable from the Starter, disconnect the wire from the °S° terminal on the starter, remove the 2 starter motor mounting bolts and remove the starter motor.

You should remove the cruise control cable before servicing the Cruise Control Module.
