You need to raise and support the vehicle, support the transmission, remove the Transmission Mount to the transmission support retaining nut, raise the transmission to take the weight off of the mount, remove the transmission mount to the transmission or transfer case adapter mounting bolts, raise the transmission, and remove the transmission mount from the vehicle.
Q: How do I connect the J 45096 to a Catera, Prizm, or a Vibe?

These vehicles, along with many other models, only require barbed fittings to connect to the rubber cooler hose. These fittings are commercially available and already found in many shops.
Q: What is the removal procedure for transmission oil cooler line quick connect fitting?

You need to pull the plastic cap back from the quick connect fitting and down along the cooler line about 5 cm, pull on one of the open ends of the retaining ring, remove the retaining ring from the quick connect fitting, discard the retaining ring, and pull the cooler line straight out from the quick connect fitting.
