You need to ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position, remove the rear compartment cover assembly and the cargo box bridge center bar, and the stop lamp retaining screws, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the stop lamp from the cargo box bridge center bar.

The recommended bolt torque is 2 Nm (17 lb in).

You need to ensure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position, remove the upper garnish molding at the headliner and the right and left side rear window garnish molding, lower the rear of the headliner, disconnect the electrical connector, attach a short piece of wire to the high mounted stop lamp connector, and remove the high mounted stop lamp screws and the high mounted stop lamp from the vehicle.

You need to install the stop lamp to the cargo box bridge center bar, connect the electrical connector, install the cargo box bridge center bar, inspect the operation, and install the rear compartment cover assembly.
