Q: What is the removal procedure for the starter motor?
A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the transmission cover bolt and the front axle mounting bracket nuts, reposition the front axle mounting bracket bolt, remove the starter bolts, disconnect the oil level sensor electrical connector, slide the starter forward, remove the starter lead nut, the starter lead, positive cable nut, and the positive cable, place the starter on a workbench, unsnap the transmission cover, and remove the starter heat shield.
