You need to disable the SIR system, remove the body control module (BCM), put the shift lever clevis into the neutral position, disconnect the electrical connector, pry the automatic transmission shift lock control actuator away, and remove the shift lock control actuator.

Q: What is the procedure for adjusting the shift lock control actuator?
A:
You need to pull out the tab on the adjuster block side of the shift lock control actuator, press on the adjuster block to compress the internal adjuster spring, slide the adjuster block, and lock the adjuster block in place by pushing in on the tab.

You need to remove the transmission filter and the accumulator, disconnect the internal wiring harness electrical connector, remove the pressure control solenoid retainer bolt and retainer, remove the pressure control solenoid, the shift solenoid retainer, and the shift solenoid.
