You need to remove the cylinder head and gasket, the Valve Lifter guide bolts, the valve lifters, and the guide. You need to use J3049-A or equivalent to remove the valve lifters and the valve lifters from the guide. You also need to organize the components that can be installed in the same location from which they were removed, and clean and inspect the valve lifters.

You need to remove the rocker's arm, disconnect the spark plug wire, loosen the spark plug, brush or air blast away any dirt or debris, remove the spark plug, install the J22794, attach an air hose, apply compressed air, compress the valve spring, remove the valve stem keys, release the valve spring tension, remove the J38606, the valve spring cap, the valve spring, and the Valve Stem Oil Seal and shim.

You need to inspect for the oil fill dipstick being pushed out of the dipstick tube and that there is engine oil seeping out when the engine is under operation, replace the oil fill cap with a vented oil fill cap if icing or freezing condition is found with a PCV valve inspection, use a new vented oil fill cap, and inspect the engine oil level.
