2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT Camshaft Position Sensor

You need to remove the engine sight shield, disconnect the Oil Pressure Sensor electrical connector, and remove the oil pressure sensor.

You need to remove the passenger seat from the vehicle, pull the carpet back to gain access to the sensor, remove the nuts retaining the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer to the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector from the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer, and remove the yaw rate sensor/lateral accelerometer from the vehicle.

While the learning procedure is in progress, release the throttle immediately when the engine starts to decelerate. The engine control is returned to the operator and the engine responds to the throttle position after the learning procedure is complete.
