You need to turn the ignition OFF for 10 seconds, connect the scan tool to the data link connector, turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF, and use the scan tool to retrieve history DTCs from all modules and clear all history DTCs.

A:
You need to slide the BCM onto the bracket, connect all the connectors except the brown connector, connect the brown connector, install the knee bolster, connect the negative battery cable(s), reprogram the BCM, and perform the PASSLOCK Learn Procedure.

You need to disconnect the negative battery cable(s), remove the knee bolster, disconnect the brown connector, disconnect all other connectors, and remove the BCM from the sliding bracket.
