You need to raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, the bolt and nut retaining the bracket to gain access to the pinch bolt, the snap ring from the ball joint stud, the bolts retaining the lower ball joint to the steering knuckle, the pinch bolt retaining the lower ball, remove the lower ball joint from the vehicle.

You need to raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, the bolt and nut retaining the bracket to the axle, the bracket from the vehicle, and the bolt retaining the brake hose bracket to the axle. You also need to remove the nut retaining the upper ball joint to the steering knuckle, the upper ball joint retaining bolts and stud, the upper ball joint stud from the steering knuckle, and the upper ball joint from the vehicle.

You need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly and the lower control arm, secure the lower control arm in a bench vice or equivalent, center punch the rivet heads, drill out the rivets and remove the lower ball joint.

You need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly and the lower control arm, place the lower control arm in a bench vice, and remove the securing crimps from the ball joint body and the ball joint from the lower control arm.

The recommended bolt torque is 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.).
