You need to blow compressed air into the 1-2 accumulator cover to remove the 1-2 accumulator piston and remove the 1-2 accumulator inner and outer springs.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the accumulator?
A:
You need to remove the refrigerant, the evaporator tube nut from the evaporator, the evaporator tube from the evaporator, and the nut from the evaporator tube, and disconnect the electrical connector from the A/C low-pressure switch. You also need to remove the compressor hose nut from the accumulator, the compressor hose from the accumulator, the nut from the evaporator fitting, the accumulator bracket nut from the retaining stud, the accumulator, the retaining bracket bolt, the retaining bracket from the accumulator, and discard the O-ring seals.
