You need to remove the throttle body air inlet duct, remove the retaining clip from the automatic transaxle range selector cable, remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the cable lever, depress the cable retainers, then remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket, remove the knee bolster, remove the console trim plate and the transaxle shift cable if the vehicle is equipped with a console shift, remove the retaining clip, the automatic transaxle range selector cable, and the automatic transaxle range selector cable if the vehicle is equipped with a column shift, then remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable through the cowl.
