The procedure is to remove the air cleaner intake duct, inspect the Throttle Body bore and the throttle plate for deposits, and clean the throttle body bore and the throttle plate, and the air cleaner intake duct.
Q: What is the air filter element removal procedure?
A:
Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Next, disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector and loosen the air cleaner housing top screws. Then remove the air cleaner housing cover and the Air Filter element.
Q: What should I pay attention to about the intake air plenum gasket?
A:
Do not replace the upper Intake Manifold Gaskets with the original orange gasket material, P/N 17113557.
