You can remove any dirt, grease, or other contaminants from the mounting surface, point the arrow on the SDM toward the front of the vehicle, install the sensor and the bolt assembly horizontally to the radiator support, connect the wire connector to the sensor, install the connector position assurance (CPA), and enable the SIR system.
