2002 Buick Rendezvous Cigarette Lighters

You can remove the cigar lighter fuse, place one side of the T-portion of J 42059 into the tab window and angle the other portion into the opposite tab window and pull the cigar lighter socket straight out, remove the tool from the cigar lighter socket, disconnect the electrical connector from the front console cigar lighter socket, remove the cigar lighter port retainer by using your index finger and pulling out.

The installation procedure is to position the cigar lighter port retainer, placing the key to the slot into the cigar lighter socket hole, install the cigar lighter port retainer by pressing into place until fully seated, connect the electrical connector to the cigar lighter socket, position the cigar lighter socket to the retainer, install the cigar lighter socket into the front console, install the cigar lighter fuse, inspect the cigar lighter for proper operation.
