Q: How do you remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil?
A:
You can disable the SIR system, remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module, remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds, remove the steering wheel, disconnect the inline connector C205 located at the base of the steering column, remove the wiring harness straps from the steering wheel column wiring harness, remove the retaining ring, remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil from the steering shaft.

A:
The installation procedure is to install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil to the steering shaft, install the retaining ring, route the lower coil wiring harness along the steering column and install the necessary wiring harness straps, connect the inline connector C205, install the steering wheel and the upper, lower steering column shrouds and the inflatable restraint steering wheel module, then enable the SIR system.
