Q: What is the removal procedure for the transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, position the drain pan under the transaxle, remove the lower radiator air deflector, pull the plastic cap back, rotate the retaining ring around the quick connect fitting, remove the retaining ring, discard the retaining ring, remove the retaining bracket bolt, the oil cooler pipes, the oil cooler pipes, the oil cooler hose/pipes, and the oil cooler hose/pipes.

You should not use the plastic cap to install the oil cooler pipe into the fitting.
