Q: What is the removal procedure for the fuel rail assembly?
A:
You need to relieve the fuel pressure from the fuel system, clean the fuel rail assembly and connections, disconnect the fuel feed and return pipes, disconnect the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator, remove the ignition coil wires, disconnect the 6 injector electrical connectors, remove the fuel rail hold-down bolts and the fuel rail.

You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the fuel injector sight shield, loosen the fuel filler cap to relieve tank vapor pressure, connect the J 34730-1A to the fuel pressure connection, install the bleed hose into an approved container and open the valve to bleed the system pressure and drain any fuel remaining in the fuel pressure gauge into an approved container.
