You need to turn OFF the ignition, disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR valve, remove the two EGR valve retaining nuts, the EGR valve, and the gasket, and clean the EGR valve adapter from dirt and debris.

You need to install the EVAP vent valve on the bracket, connect the vent hose to the EVAP vent valve and the EVAP vent valve electrical connector, install the left inner rear fender, and lower the vehicle.

You need to remove the outlet hose clamp and the outlet hose from the intermediate pipe, raise the vehicle, remove the fasteners from the front portion of the left front wheel well/splash shield, reposition the splash shield, and remove the outlet hose from the pump and the outlet hose.
