You need to install a large C-clamp over the top of the caliper housing and against the back of the outboard pad, slowly tighten the C-clamp, and remove the C-clamp from the caliper.

You need to inspect the fluid level, raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the tire and the wheel assembly, retain the rotor to the hub, compress the front caliper piston, remove the lower caliper bolt, access the pads, remove the pads and the two retainer slides, and inspect the disc brake mounting and hardware, the caliper dust boot, and the caliper bolts.

You need to inspect the fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir, remove the rear tire and the wheel assembly, install a hand-tightened lug nut, compress the caliper piston, remove the upper caliper bolt, pivot the caliper down, remove the brake pads and remove the 2 pad clips, and inspect the caliper mounting hardware and the caliper dust boot, and inspect the caliper bolts.
