You need to install the bulb to the socket, install the bulb and the socket to the lamp, install the grommet to the rear end panel, install the taillamp, install the nuts retaining the taillamp to the vehicle, then connect the electrical connector, and install the rear compartment sill plate.

You need to remove the rear compartment sill plate, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the nuts that retain the taillamp to the vehicle, remove the grommet from the rear end panel, remove the taillamp, the bulb, and the socket from the taillamp, finally remove the bulb from the socket.
