A:
You need to remove the steering gear heat shield, install a drain pan under the vehicle, remove the Power Steering Hose retainer from the engine frame at gear, remove the power steering pressure hose from the power steering gear and the power steering pump, then remove the power steering pressure hose.
Q: How to install the vacuum brake booster?
A:
You need to install the Brake Booster mounting gasket to the booster, the brake booster, and the brake pedal assembly to booster stud mounting nuts, raise the steering column, install it into position, apply a small amount of lubricant, GM P/N 12346293 or equivalent to the clevis pin of the brake pedal, connect the brake booster pushrod to the brake pedal clevis pin, then install the foam spacer and the retainer clip, install the left closeout panel, the washer solvent reservoir, the master cylinder to the booster, reposition and connect the vacuum check valve, then connect the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor, and connect the electrical connector to the EGR valve.

You need to install new copper Brake Hose gaskets, assemble the brake hose, the new copper brake hose gaskets, and the brake hose bolt to the brake hose, install the brake hose to caliper bolt to the brake caliper, install the brake hose to the brake hose bracket, install the brake hose retainer to the brake hose, then remove the rubber cap or plug from the exposed brake pipe fitting end, and install the brake pipe fitting to the brake hose.
