Q: How to remove the alternator?
A:
You need to disconnect the battery negative cable, remove the drive belt, the fuel injector sight shield, the fasteners securing the generator brace, the generator brace, disconnect the wiring harness connector from the generator, reposition the protective boot from the generator output BAT terminal for access, then remove the generator output BAT terminal nut and disconnect the battery positive lead from the generator, remove the generator mounting bolts, and the generator.
