Q: How do you remove the tail lamp?
A:
You can remove the rear compartment sill plate, disconnect the tail lamp connector, press the grommet out of the rear end panel, remove the fasteners securing the tail lamp assembly to the body, remove the tail lamp assembly from the body, twist the tail lamp socket counterclockwise to remove, replace the failed bulbs, if necessary.

Q: What's the proper way to remove the tail/Backup lamp?
A:
The proper way is to disconnect the tail/backup lamp harness connector from the body wiring harness, remove the tail/backup lamp assembly from the rear compartment lid, and unplug the tail/backup lamp harness grommet from the rear compartment lid while supporting the tail/backup lamp assembly, then remove tail/backup lamp from the vehicle.
