Q: What's the proper way to install the intermediate park brake cable?
A:
The proper way is to connect the intermediate park brake cable to the equalizer, connect the right rear parking brake cable to the intermediate park brake cable, insert the intermediate park brake cable into the cable retaining bracket and lock the intermediate park brake cable into place, connect the front of the intermediate park brake cable to the park brake cable connector, install the front park brake cable to the cable guides, lower the vehicle, cycle the park brake pedal 1 to 2 times to ensure that the park brake cable retainers are seated.
