2002 Buick LeSabre Oxygen Sensor

You can raise and support the vehicle, position the oil drain pan under the engine oil drain plug, remove the engine oil drain plug, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug, repair or replace it if necessary, then clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug sealing surface on the oil pan, repair or replace oil pan if necessary, then remove the Oil Filter and clean and inspect the oil filter sealing area on the oil filter adapter, repair or replace if necessary.

The removal procedure is to remove the fuel injector sight shield and the MAP sensor, then use a 16 mm (5/8 inch) socket to press the access cover down and rotate 1/4 turn counterclockwise, remove the access cover then remove the PCV Valve and the O-ring from the intake manifold.

You may need to remove the left valve rocker arm cover, the right valve rocker arm cover, the valve rocker arm pedestal retaining bolts, the pedestal, the rocker arm assembly, and the Pushrods, then clean the bolts of all thread adhesive, clean and inspect the valve rocker arms and pushrods.
