The proper way is to remove the upper garnish molding at the headliner, pull back the right and left side rear window garnish molding, disconnect the electrical connector, and remove the high-mounted stop lamp screws and the high-mounted stop lamp.

A:
The proper way is to attach the harness to the guide wire, pull the lamp wire through the hole in the roof panel, remove the guide wire, install the high-mounted stop lamp, the headliner, the left and right side rear window garnish molding, and the rear upper garnish molding.
