A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, relieve the fuel system pressure, drain the fuel tank, remove the fuel tank and the fuel sender assembly, disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector, remove the Fuel Level Sensor electrical connector retaining clip, disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector, remove the fuel level sensor retaining clip, and squeeze the locking tangs and remove the fuel level sensor.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the fuel system cleaning?
A:
You need to disconnect the negative battery cable, relieve the fuel system pressure, drain the Fuel Tank, remove the fuel tank and the fuel sender assembly, flush the fuel tank, pour the water out of the fuel sender assembly opening, and rock the tank to be sure that removal of water.

You need to grasp both sides of the quick-connect fitting, twist the female connector 1/4 turn in each direction to loosen any dirt within the quick-connect fitting, blow any dirt out of the quick-connect fitting, squeeze the plastic retainer release tabs, and pull the connection apart.
