Q: What is the removal procedure for the camshaft position (CMP) sensor?
A:
You need to turn off the ignition, remove the engine cover, disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire, and the CMP sensor electrical connector from the distributor, remove the distributor cap screws, the distributor cap, the rotor screws, and the rotor, align the square slot in the reluctor wheel, remove the CMP sensor screws and the CMP sensor.

Q: How to repair SIR/SRS system wire splice?
A:
The procedure is to apply a new splice (not sealed) from the J 38125-B if damage occurs to any of the original equipment splices (3 wires or more) in the SIR/SRS wiring harness, and carefully follow the instructions included in the kit for proper splice clip application.
