Q: What is the disabling procedure for airbag(s) arming and disarming?
A:
The procedure is to turn the steering wheel, turn OFF the ignition, remove the key from the ignition, the AIR BAG Fuse from the IP fuse block, the driver knee bolster, and the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) from the steering wheel module yellow 2-way connector, disconnect the steering wheel module yellow 2-way connector, remove the passenger knee bolster, the CPA from the IP module yellow 2-way connector, disconnect the IP module yellow 2-way connector.

You need to remove the key from the ignition, connect the IP module yellow 2-way connector, install the CPA and the passenger's knee bolster, connect the steering wheel module yellow 2-way connector, install the CPA to the steering wheel module yellow 2-way connector, the driver's knee bolster and the AIR BAG Fuse, turn ON the ignition, and perform the Diagnostic System Check - SIR.
